WATERVILLE, Maine -- Colby College posted a 12-5 men's lacrosse result versus the University of New England at Seaverns Field on Wednesday night (Mar. 6).
Cormac O'Neill factored in three early goals for the Mules (1-1) and netted his lone marker for a 4-1 advantage through 15 minutes. Four more unanswered by the hosts led to an 8-2 cushion at halftime.
Doug McCarthy, Bennett Goller, and Nick Sokolosky each pocketed two goals on the Colby side. Carson Byrd had three caused turnovers and three ground balls, and Will Heisler made nine saves over 54 minutes of work.

Finn McCoy accounted for the scoring for UNE (1-5).
Ben Gowell picked up five ground balls, as did
Evan Hazard, who provided 14 saves for the visitors.
