BIDDEFORD, Maine – The University of New England and Gordon College opened up Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's soccer play with a 0-0 draw at Blue Storm Stadium on Friday night.
 
Shots favored the Fighting Scots 11-4 overall but each team had just one chance on goal both of which came in the second half.
 
Henry McElroy booted a shot on goal for Gordon in the 51st minute, but Triston O'Hagan was there to keep the game scoreless. Nick Reffel had the Nor'easters lone shot on net in the 72nd minute.
 
UNE is back in action at home on Monday night against Husson at 6 p.m.
