BRISTOL, R.I. -- Liam Blaisdell scored in the 16th minute to give the Roger Williams University Hawks a 1-0 decision over the University of New England in Commonwealth Coast Conference men's soccer action Saturday afternoon (Oct. 14) at Bayside Field.
Blaisdell's tally was his team-leading seventh of the season for the Hawks, who improved to 5-4-6 overall and 3-1-1 in conference play. UNE dipped to 1-9-5 (0-3-2 CCC).
The stat sheet went in favor of Roger Williams. The hosts held a 16-2 advantage in shots and 4-1 margin in corner kicks. Hogan Cain needed just one save to record the shutout.
