BANGOR, Maine – Husson University scored a second half goal to defeat the University of New England 1-0 in non-conference men's soccer action on Wednesday night.
 
In the 68th minute, Ben Shumway passed a through ball ahead to Arni Hreidarsson who scored his fourth goal of the season.
 
The Eagles outshot the Nor'easters 13-1 on the night. Ollie Hammond made three saves in the loss for UNE. Benjamin Powell was untested in net for Husson.
 
UNE returns to action at home on Saturday in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) tilt against Curry at 1 p.m.
