CANTON, Mass. Anthony Sciucco buried the game-winning goal in overtime to push #7 University of New England past Curry College, 2-1, in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's ice hockey matchup on Friday night at the Canton Ice House.

Sciucco took the puck into the zone at center ice and left it for Alex Sheehy near the top of the circle. Sheehy quickly found Sciucco in front of the net and the sophomore beat the Colonels goaltender 2:18 into the extra period to give the Nor'easters the comeback victory.

Despite 20 chances between the teams, neither side could break the tie in the third period. The Nor'easters outshot the Colonels 2-1 in the extra frame and held a 38-37 advantage in shots on the night.
