BIDDEFORD, Maine – Endicott College used a strong second half to defeat the University of New England, 2-0, in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's soccer regular season finale on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Morgan Hubert put the Gulls on the board early in the second after a scoreless opening half as she booted home a pass off the foot of Madison Webster.
 
Ella Morgan found Riley Rischitelli for her fourth goal of the season in the 76th minute to put Endicott in front 2-0.
 
After a close first half, the Gulls outshot UNE 10-3 in the second and 15-7 overall. Jacqueline Ruggiero had four saves in the shutout victory. Sydney Gillingham made four saves in the loss.
 
The Nor'easters (9-5-3, 4-2-3 CCC) enter the CCC Championship as the second seed and will host either Wentworth or Endicott (9-4-5, 3-2-4 CCC) in the Quarterfinal round in Biddeford on Saturday.
