DUDLEY, Mass. – The Nichols College men's soccer team picked up a 3-1 victory over the University of New England in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup on Saturday afternoon.
 
Ethan Gosper scored his third goal of the season in the 16^th minute off an assist from William Savage. The score remained 1-0 into the half.
 
UNE was able to tie the score in the 55^th minute as a Nichols miscue led to an own goal. Nikolas Padilla converted on a penalty kick in the 59^th minute as the Bison grabbed the lead back. Nichols extended its lead to 3-1 in the 84^th minute as Nicholas McGrath scored off a pass from Colby Knight.
 
Shot totals were fairly close with the Bison holding a slim 18-15 advantage overall. Franco Barreto Santana earned the victory in net with four saves. Sean McCarthy had seven stops for UNE.
 
The Nor'easters wrap up their season at home against Endicott on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
