Nor’easters dominate Thomas in 3-0 victory

WATERVILLE, Maine Tori Keyes scored two goals as the University of New England ran through Thomas, 3-0, in a non-conference women's soccer matchup on Friday evening.
 
UNE controlled the game from the opening kick. Keyes put the Nor'easters in front with a goal in the final seconds of the first half. The first-year extended the UNE lead to 2-0 with her second score in the 66th minute. Olivia King added her second goal in as many games just over five minutes later as the Nor'easters cruised to their second victory on the young season.
 
Sydney Gillingham and Claudia Kenneway combined to backstop the second-consecutive shutout for UNE.
 
The Nor'easters return to Barbara J. Hazard Field on Monday afternoon against Westfield State at 3 p.m.
