LEWISTON, Maine – The Bates College men's soccer team scored twice in the final 20 minutes to grab a 2-0 victory over the University of New England on Tuesday afternoon.
 
After a scoreless first half, Owen Keleher put the Bobcats in front in the 72^nd minute. Ciaran Bardong added some insurance for the hosts with an 87^th minute score.
 
Bates outshot UNE 19-11 on the afternoon. Will Shearon made five saves for the Nor'easters. David Goodstein backstopped the victory with four stops.
 
UNE continues its road trip on Saturday at Southern Maine. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
