BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The University of New England men's lacrosse team defeated Bryn Athyn 25-12 in non-conference action at Nelson Field on Saturday afternoon.
 
Alex Zadworny led the Nor'easters with five goals and three assists. Jason Erwin and Mitch Mullin each added four goals in the victory. Garett Bozek had three goals and two assists.
 
UNE took control early, outscoring Bryn Athyn 9-2 in the first quarter. The Nor'easters extended their lead to 16-5 at the half as they out shot the Lions 31-12 over the first 30 minutes.
 
The second half was much of the same as UNE led by as many as 14 before the final horn.
 
James Vandegrift scored five goals and added an assist for Bryn Athyn. Cameron Leech provided four goals and five helpers for the hosts.
 
The Nor'easters continue their road trip on Wednesday, March 20 at Emerson at 6 p.m.
