BEVERLY, Mass. -- Keith Brown and Matt McDevitt combined to knock down 14-of-20 from long range as Endicott College topped the University of New England, 128-79, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's basketball action Tuesday night (Feb. 5) at MacDonald Gymnasium.

The Gulls (16-6) improve to 9-4 in league outings, while the Nor'easters (6-17) slip back to 4-10 in the CCC.

Brown's only three field-goal misses were from deep (8-for-11) en route to 35 points. McDevitt tossed in another six treys and finished at 23 points with a game-high nine rebounds. Vinny Clifford contributed 11 points, while Joe Shehadi registered nine points, six boards, and five assists.

Endicott shot 62 percent from the floor in the contest (45-for-73), which included a nearly identical accuracy (24-of-39) from three-point land.

Meanwhile, UNE made 37 percent and hit nine triples in roughly the same number of attempts.

Drew Patno paced the Nor'easters at 13 points, largely on three makes from downtown. Drake Gavin and Avery DeBrito posted nine and eight points, respectively. Alex Kravchuk tallied seven points and seven rebounds before fouling out in 12 minutes.

A 12-0 run in the latter portion of the 1st half bumped the margin into double digits for good at 42-22. The Gulls then notched 18 of the initial 20 points coming out of the intermission to gain a 78-41 cushion.

UNE will be back at the Harold Alfond Forum to entertain No.20 Nichols College (12-1 CCC) on Saturday.
