BIDDEFORD, Maine – The third-seed University of New England won its second consecutive Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Soccer Championship with a 1-0 victory over fifth-seed Endicott on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 9) at UNE Blue Storm Stadium.

Caroline Wilson scored to the top-right corner of the net in the 72nd minute for the lone goal of the game. A cross by Ashley Sherman was booted around the box, but eventually found the feet for Jessie Maywalt (CCC 2nd Team), who fed Wilson for the winner. [Watch]

Shots narrowly favored the Gulls, 12-11. Jenna Pannone (CCC Defensive Player of the Year / 1st Team) made six saves to preserve her fifth shutout of the season. Kayla Wentworth made three stops for Endicott.
