After a long Becker drive to begin the day ended in a punt, the Nor'easters answered with a 33-yard field goal by
Kevin Heintz that hit the crossbar and went in to give UNE at 3-0 lead. The score was setup by long catch and runs of 10 and 30-yards by

Becker was unable to trim the deficit despite two drives deep into UNE territory as the Hawks failed on fourth down from the Nor'easters 23 and 19 yard lines.
Mac Kimball completed a 16-yard screen pass for a score to Collins with 6:24 to play, but the ensuing two-point attempt failed as the score remained 17-14 in favor of UNE.
After stalled drives by each team, the Nor'easters eventually took over with 1:44 remaining looking to run out the clock. Two plays in, Mahoney broke a 28-yard score to seal the UNE victory.
