Statistics

BIDDEFORD, Maine -- Endicott College coasted past the University of New England by a 3-0 tally (25-19, 25-8, 25-16) in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's volleyball action Wednesday night (Oct. 30) at the Harold Alfond Forum.

Remi Quesnelle registered a match-best 10 kills for the Gulls (19-7, 7-0 CCC), who secured the top seed for the upcoming conference tournament. Amanda Gilbert added nine winners and 10 digs, while Colleen McAvoy went for seven kills and factored in seven blocks. Zoey Clifford supported the attack with 26 assists, and Mackenzie Kennedy totaled 18 digs to go with five service aces.

The Nor'easters (15-5, 4-3 CCC) received six kills apiece from Paige Simoneau, Molly Camelo, and Micaela McNamara, and 19 assists out of Sydney Christiansen. Katie Marsh and Camelo accounted for 14 and 11 digs, respectively.

Endicott scored the first five points of the evening and built a lead as high as seven (15-8, 18-11, 19-12) in the opening frame. UNE assembled a 7-2 run to narrow the gap to 21-19, but couldn't inch any closer. The Gulls were dominant in the 2nd set, but the Nor'easters started out with a 4-2 advantage in the 3rd. EC used a 6-1 spurt to separate to a 13-7 cushion, though, and the margin was no less than five the rest of the way.

UNE wraps up the regular season on Saturday (1 p.m.) when Roger Williams University (5-2 CCC) comes to visit.
