DUDLEY, Mass. – The University of New England women's soccer team earned a key Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) victory, 3-1, over Nichols on Saturday afternoon in Dudley, Mass.
 
Caroline Wilson put the Nor'easters on top early with her second goal of the season in the seventh minute off an assist from Katie Beaudoin. Beaudoin extended the advantage to 2-0 in the 54^th minute.
 
Maegan Roy was able to pull the Bison within one in the 58^th minute. Fiona Blanchard tallied her first of the year to put the game out of reach in the 80^th minute. Ashley Sherman assisted on the final goal.
 
The Nor'easters outshot Nichols 19-12 on the day and 11-6 on goal. Olivia Marcantonio made eight saves for the Bison. Jenna Pannone stopped five shots in the victory.
 
UNE closes out the regular season against Endicott at home on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 6:30 p.m.
