BOSTON, Mass. – Alexis Stickelman scored her first goal of the season to lead the Wentworth Institute of Technology past the University of New England, 1-0, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's soccer action on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Stickelman provided the lone score in the 50^th minute off an assist from Jess Poratti. Allison Haynes made six saves to earn the shutout.
 
UNE outshot Wentworth 11-10 on the day and 6-5 on goal. Jenna Pannone had four stops in the loss.
 
The Nor'easters visit Nichols on Saturday at 3 p.m.
