BIDDEFORD, Maine – Colby College tallied a goal in each half to earn a 2-0 victory over the University of New England in non-conference women's soccer action on Wednesday evening.
 
Mannon Frykholm sent a pass ahead into the box to Kara Wilson who scored past a charging keeper in the 17th minute to put the Mules (3-3-2) in front. Chloe Schiff headed in a corner off the foot of Hallie Schwartzman in the 83rd minute for the final score.
 
Shannon Gray picked up the clean sheet with four saves, including three in the first half. Jenna Pannone had five stops for UNE (4-3-2). Shots favored Colby 16-9 overall and 7-4 on goal.
 
The Nor'easters return to Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play on the road Saturday, Oct. 5 at Gordon at 12 p.m.
