BIDDEFORD, Maine – The University of New England women's soccer team picked up a 1-0 victory over Curry in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Barbara J. Hazard Field on Tuesday afternoon.
The Nor'easters (7-4-2, 2-2-0 CCC) lone goal was scored in the 16
th minute by
Jessie Maywalt, her third-straight game with a score. The goal was setup by a long cross to the far post by
Alyssa Boilard, Maywalt rushed into the box and booted it to the opposite side to give UNE the lead. [

Jenna Pannone earned her second clean sheet of the season as she stopped all seven shots she faced. Oliver Hutchinson also made seven saves for Curry (5-10-0, 1-3-0 CCC). UNE held a 21-13 advantage in shots on the day.
The Nor'easters will celebrate Senior Day at home on Saturday, Oct. 19 against Western New England at 2:30 p.m.
