Nor’easters blank Colby-Sawyer, 3-0, for third straight victory

BIDDEFORD, Maine – The University of New England men's soccer team defeated Colby-Sawyer, 3-0, on Tuesday night at Barbara J. Hazard Field to grab its third-consecutive win.
 
Callum Heaslewood tallied his fifth goal in the last three games to put UNE in front 1-0 in the 36th minute. The score was setup by assists from Colby Obrecht and Cody Kennedy. [Watch]
 
A corner kick by Cam Twombly found the head of Daniel Smushkin in a crowd in front of the net to extend the lead out to 2-0 in the 53rd minute [Watch]. Lee Esposito put the finishing touches on the win with a goal from close range in the 69th minute [Watch].
 
Camden Spear made five saves in 80:23 in goal while Ethan Dispoto stopped two shots over the final minutes. Lucas Boetsch had nine saves for the Chargers.
