BOSTON -- Emerson College picked a 3-0 women's volleyball decision (25-13, 25-12, 25-22) over the University of New England on Wednesday evening (Sep. 5) at Brown & Plofker Gymnasium.

The Lions (5-0) received 10 kills from Albany Alexander, who connected at a .421 hitting clip. Moira Brennan paced the attack with 28 assists, while the defensive effort was led by Grace Tepper and Fara Cohen with 14 and 13 digs, respectively.

For the Nor'easters (1-3), Katie Flynn had team-highs of seven kills and seven digs. Sydney Christiansen totaled 13 assists.

UNE is off to upstate New York for Friday and Saturday matches in the Vassar College Invitational. Big Blue will take on the University of Scranton, Vassar, SUNY Osewgo, and SUNY Fredonia.
