Beaudoin fuels second-half charge as Nor'easters drop Curry, 4-0

MILTON, Mass. – Katie Beaudoin tallied two goals and two assists to guide the University of New England over Curry College, 4-0, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's soccer action on Saturday night.
 
Each team had 11 total shots in the first half and the Nor'easters (4-4-1, 2-1-0 CCC) led 7-2 in shots-on-goal, but neither side could finish a chance.
 
Beaudoin launched a cross that found the head of Kat Buscemi in the 49th minute to break the scoreless tie. Just over a minute later, Beaudoin buried her first goal of the season following a corner by Amanda Gagne. She put UNE ahead 3-0 in the 58th minute off an assist from Avery Bond, and setup Jessie Maywalt in the 68th minute set the final margin.

Jenna Pannone improved to 4-0 on the year and made five saves to earn her first clean sheet. Maggie Chamberlain stopped nine shots for the Colonels (7-4-1, 0-2-1 CCC).
 
The Nor'easters return to the field on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at Colby College. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
