WORCESTER, Mass. – The Clark University men's soccer team picked up a 5-0 victory over the University of New England on Wednesday night at Granger Field.

Evan Jurkowski began the scoring for the Cougars (8-1) in the 17th minute, and Javier Amezcua assisted on a goal and had a score of his own to help the Clark build the lead to four by halftime. The final goal came off a corner kick in the 66th minute.

The Cougars held a 24-13 advantage in shots. Will Shearon made 10 saves for the Nor'easters (1-7).

UNE returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 29 in a Commonwealth Coast Conference match at Curry. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
