BRISTOL, R.I. – Roger Williams University scored twice in the first half to remain undefeated with a 2-0 victory over the University of New England in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's soccer action at Bayside Field on Saturday.
 
Stathi Panagiotidis put the Hawks ahead in the 12^th minute on his third goal of the season. Michael Olivera extended the lead to 2-0 with a goal in the 20^th minute.
 
Shots were fairly close on the day with Roger Williams holding a 17-14 advantage. UNE outshot the Hawks 7-4 in the second half, but were unable to spoil the shutout. Colby Obrecht led the way with four shots on the day.
 
Nathan Desesdernier made five saves for the Nor'easters.
 
UNE returns to action on Wednesday evening at Clark at 7 p.m.
