– A goal in each half by Cam Clouse helped Colby College defeat the University of New England, 3-1, in men's soccer action on Tuesday night.
The Mules (2-2-1) pulled ahead 1-0 in the 6th minute as Jacob Tower launched a shot over the head of Nor'easters' goalkeeper
Nathan Delesdernier from the top of the box. In the 38th minute, a header by Clouse extended the Colby lead to 2-0.
Callum Heaslewood cut the deficit to 2-1 in the 54th minute as he buried a goal from outside the top of the box to the bottom right corner.
Cam Twombly assisted on the score for UNE (1-5).
Clouse inserted some separation with his second of the game in the 71st minute.
The Nor'easters visit Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) foe Roger Williams on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 3 p.m.
