BOSTON -- Rene Roggenbuck hit home nine kills and factored in eight blocks as the University of New England recorded a 3-0 sweep (25-18, 25-12, 25-22) of Emmanuel College (Mass.) on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 6) at Yosinoff Court.

After Roggenbuck's 14 points, the Nor'easters (6-12) received 11.5 points of support from Katie Flynn, who also recorded nine kills. Molly Camelo and Stephanie Erickson added seven and six kills, respectively, with some of the 30 assists by Sydney Christiansen. Katie Marsh had a match-high 12 digs.

Mary Shelow led all players with 14 kills for the Saints (7-9), and Carly Church posted 26 assists.

UNE heads for Gordon College and a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) date on Tuesday (7 p.m.).
