Callum Heaslewood scored in the 88th minute to complete a comeback and lift the University of New England men's soccer team over Wentworth Institute of Technology, 4-3, on a rainy Tuesday night at UNE Blue Storm Stadium. The Nor'easters (6-11, 3-5 CCC) secure their place in the upcoming Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship with the result, while the Leopards concluded the year at 6-10-1 (2-6 CCC).
After a first half that saw the teams split six goals, the second period remained scoreless until the game-winner.
Cam Twombly passed ahead to Heaslewood on the left side, who then bent his shot to the top right corner past a diving Wentworth keeper.

The Leopards jumped ahead early on a goal by Griffin Price, but UNE answered just 16 seconds later as
Colin Madigan blasted a shot from 20 yards out off a defender and the right post.

Price curled a free-kick in from just outside the box in the 18th minute to put WIT back in front, and the visitors extended the lead to 3-1 in the 29th minute when a long pass from the back line found Noah Martins ahead of the UNE defense for a goal.
Heaslewood cut into the deficit with his first goal of the game at the 30 minute mark as Twombly found him in-stride at the top of the box

UNE will take the sixth seed on the road against No.3 Gordon College in the opening round of the tournament on Saturday (5:30 p.m.).
