BRISTOL, R.I. -- Roger Williams University picked up a 3-0 result (25-9, 25-18, 25-16) against the University of New England in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's volleyball action Saturday afternoon (Oct. 20) at the Campus Rec Center.

Lara LoIacono led the Hawks (14-10, 5-1 CCC) with 13 kills, and Katherine Pickard chipped in with seven more. Maddie Neuberger and Molly Quilty factored in seven and five blocks, respectively -- each with a pair of solo rejections. Neuberger also dropped in four service aces. Julia Fields notched a double-double of 32 assists and 15 digs; Kate Grabowski recorded another 12 digs along the back line.

For the Nor'easters (8-16, 1-5 CCC), Rene Roggenbuck had seven kills and shared three blocks. Sydney Christiansen registered 14 assists, and Molly Camelo had a team-best nine digs.

UNE returns home to face Curry College on Tuesday (7 p.m.).
