SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The University of New England women's soccer team played to a 1-1 double overtime draw at Western New England University in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup on Saturday.

The teams battled back and forth the rest of the afternoon, but neither could gain an advantage. UNE held a 16-15 advantage in shots and 8-7 in shots on goal in regulation. Each team had an attempt in the first overtime. The Nor'easters out-shot WNE, 3-2, in the second extra period.
Jenna Pannone made seven saves while Alex Lemekha and Melissa Veilleux combined for 11 for the Golden Bears.
UNE will wrap up the regular season at home on Tuesday, Oct. 23 against Wentworth at 4 p.m.
