BOSTON, Mass. -- Wentworth Institute of Technology defeated the University of New England by a 3-0 margin (25-18, 25-19, 25-16) in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's volleyball match Tuesday evening (Sep. 26) at Tansey Gymnasium.

Leah Rogoz had team-highs of nine kills and 12 digs for the Leopards (13-1, 2-1 CCC), with eight more kills coming from Samantha Lassiter. Katie Clouse totaled 16 assists.

The Nor'easters (3-10, 1-2 CCC) were paced by nine kills from Bekah Mather. Kristen Falcinelli had a double-double of 17 assists and 11 digs. Sydney Christiansen racked up a match-best 18 digs, and Katie Marsh tallied another 12 defending the opposition's attack.

UNE returns home to face Rivier University in a out-of-league contest on Thursday (7 p.m.).
