BIDDEFORD, Maine -- Bekah Mather totaled 11 kills with a hitting percentage of .625 to pace the University of New England women's volleyball squad to a 3-0 win (25-10, 25-10, 25-15) over Nichols College in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday afternoon (Sep. 23) at the Harold Alfond Forum.

The Nor'easters (3-9, 1-1 CCC) received attacking support from Molly Camelo with nine winners, and both Rene Roggenbuck and Sydney Christiansen with seven more. Christiansen helped fuel the offense with 15 assists, second to the 18 by Kristen Falcinelli, who also dropped in five service aces. Defensively, Katie Marsh had eight digs.

For the Bison (2-11, 0-2 CCC), J'ena Baker registered six kills and Zoe Chevrette tallied three aces. Jayla Simmons picked up 12 digs.

UNE will visit Wentworth Institute of Technology on Tuesday (7 p.m.) for another league match.
