NORTH QUINCY, Mass. – Dexter Doucet registered the only goal of the match in the 14th minute as the University of New England triumphed over Eastern Nazarene College, 1-0, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's soccer action Saturday afternoon (Sep. 23) at Creedon Field.

The win snaps a four-game skid for the Nor'easters (2-7), who are now 1-1 CCC competition.

Doucet's tally came from the left edge of the box, where he floated a left-footed ball into the top-right corner of the cage.

Nathan Delesdernier did not have to record a save for the Nor'easters, who out-shot Eastern Nazarene (0-6, 0-2 CCC) by a 17-4 margin on the day. For the Lions, Victor Mendoza made six stops.

UNE is slated to entertain Clark University on Wednesday (7 p.m.).
