GORHAM, Maine -- Jess Williamson and Mo Raymond went for 15 and 10 kills, respectively, to lead the University of Southern Maine to a 3-0 decision (25-10, 25-22, 25-9) against the University of New England in women's volleyball action Saturday afternoon (Sep. 2) at Hill Gymnasium.

Raymond also racked up six aces for the Huskies (3-0), who got 30 attacking assists out of Nicole Schmitz. Mariah Garcia tallied a contest-best 11 digs.

Rene Roggenbuck paced the Nor'easters with six kills and a pair of solo blocks. Paige Simoneau went for nine digs.

UNE is set to open its home slate on Thursday (7 p.m.) when Emerson College comes into town.
