BOSTON -- Wentworth Institute of Technology scored once in the 1st half and added two more during the 2nd period to record a 3-0 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's soccer victory over the University of New England on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 7) at Sweeney Field.
The Leopard (6-6-1, 2-1-1 CCC) went ahead in the 32nd minute on a goal by Michael Zendan, before Emmett Basaca and Matt Cicalis provided some insurance with tallies in the 77th and 80th minutes.

Nathan Delesdernier into a career-high 11 saves. His counterpart on the home team, Philip Chomicki, posted five stops for the shutout.
The Nor'easters (2-11, 1-3 CCC) return home to entertain Gordon College on Tuesday (6:30 p.m.).
