Edie Pallozzi opened the scoring for UNE in the 15th minute, getting past a defender up the right side and placing a shot inside the left post.

Nichols nearly tied it in the 56th minute with a header off a corner kick, but the try hit squarely on the crossbar.

Katie Beaudoin doubled the margin to 2-0 in the 69th minute, when she chased a through-ball up the middle and touched it off the goalkeeper rushing out, before then feeding her second contact into an empty net. Beaudoin now sits on 15 goals for the season, equaling the fourth-most productive scoring campaign in the 28 years of the program.

Just 77 seconds later, however, the Bison got one back (2-1) with a penalty kick conversion into the upper right corner by Ashley Cibotti.

The Nor'easters sealed their sixth straight win against Nichols in the 88th minute, as a cross from the corner bounced out to Becca Murphy and she floated one just over the goalie.

Emily Ashman made five saves for UNE, which totaled a 25-10 advantage in shot attempts.

For the Bison, who conclude the year at 5-11-1 (1-7-1 CCC), Brooke Downey recorded 10 stops.

When the Nor'easters met Western New England back in the conference opener on September 16 in Biddeford, the Golden Bears came away with a 1-0 result.
