BIDDEFORD, Maine -- Brady Sezon scored with 3:32 remaining to lift Endicott College to a 2-1 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's soccer victory over the University of New England on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 21) at Barbara J. Hazard Field.

The Gulls (10-4-1) remain atop the league standings at 7-0-1 with the result. The Nor'easters slip to 7-8-2 overall and 2-5-1 in the CCC.

The deciding tally came when Rachel Hanna settled the rebound off her own saved shot and left it for Sezon to peg the upper-left corner.

UNE had knotted the match in the 61st minute, as Katie Beaudoin ran onto a loose ball outside the box and placed one into the left side.

Hanna had notched the only goal of the 1st half in the 16th minute, finishing a give-and-go up the middle with Mary Verneris to put Endicott up, 1-0.

Shelby Elwell turned in five saves for the Gulls.

For the Nor'easters, Emily Ashman did well to keep things close throughout, totaling seven stops.

UNE will close out the regular-season at Nichols College (1-6-1 CCC) on Wednesday (3 p.m.).
