MIT remains undefeated on the season at 3-0, while the Nor'easters slip to 2-4.

Luke Verdi had four goals to pace the Engineers. Graham Davis and Harris Stolzenberg contributed three goals apiece. Stolzenberg and Michael Traub each handed out a pair of assists.
Tom Luttrell tallied four markers for the Nor'easters, while
Sam Cloutier had three and
Andrew Curro added two. Curro and
Dan Auger each had a pair of helpers.
Down 4-3 after one frame, the Engineers blanked UNE 5-0 in the second quarter to take the lead (8-4) for good heading into intermission. MIT scorched the cage for seven more markers in the third -- a trio by Verdi -- and held off a late UNE charge in the final stanza to claim victory.
Sean Conger won 13 of 24 face-offs for the Nor'easters, who received a team-high five ground balls from
Chris Harlow.
Eric Bartell played the first three-plus quarters in goal for MIT, totaling five saves to earn the victory.
John Dusel and
David Pearson split time in goal for the Nor'easters. The duo accounted for 11 stops.
