BIDDEFORD, Maine --
Armand Uomoleale (SO/Westport, Conn.) scored twice to help the University of New England build a four-goal lead as the Nor'easters cruised to a 5-2 Commonwealth Coast Conference men's ice hockey win over Becker College Saturday evening (Nov. 19) at the Harold Alfond Forum.
The victory pushed the Nor'easters over the .500 mark to 3-2-1 overall (3-2-1 CCC). The Hawks dipped to 2-5-0 overall and 2-4-0 in conference play.
Samuel Michaud (FY/Portland, Maine),
Dylan Bengtson (SO/Coral Springs, Fla.) and
Nick Wirth (SR/Ashburn, Va.) added goals for UNE, while Brandon Morgan (SO/Rochester, N.Y.) and Willard McMillen (FY/Grapevine, Texas) provided the scoring for Becker.
UNE led from start-to-finish, scoring twice late in the first to assume control. Uomoleale notched his first of the evening at 14:18, rifling home a shot from the low slot after Michaud had got his stick on the puck when
Blaise Healy (SR/Melrose, Mass.) dug it out from behind the cage

Tucker Ross (SO/Ashburn, Va.) had assists.
After a scoreless middle period, the Nor'easters scored less than a minute apart after seven minutes had elapsed in the third. With the Nor'easters on the power play,
Brady Fleurent (SO/Biddeford, Maine) spotted Bengtson in the left circle, and Bengtson slid a shot inside the near post
[WATCH]. Uomoleale gave UNE a four-goal lead 36 seconds later, setting up in the low slot and one-timing a feed from Healy, who had brought the puck up the left side on a rush

Morgan got the Hawks on the scoreboard with 5:24 remaining when he beat UNE goaltender
Joe Noonan (SO/Cranston, R.I.) near-post from the right circle.
McMillen notched a power-play goal at 18:24 of the frame to get the Hawks within two (4-2), but Wirth scored an empty-net goal from deep in the Nor'easters' end in the final minute to put the game away
[WATCH].
Noonan made 34 saves to record the win, while Tyler Stepke (SR/Mars, Pa.) had 39 for Becker.
Both teams will play 7 p.m. non-conference road games Tuesday. Becker heads to Tufts University, and UNE will travel to Bowdoin College.
