BRISTOL, R.I. -- Roger Williams University scored a goal in each half to earn a 2-0 Commonwealth Coast Confererence women's soccer win over the University of New England Saturday afternoon (Oct. 22) at Bayside Field.

With one conference match remaining for each squad, Roger Williams now stands at 9-6-2 (6-0-2 CCC), while the Nor'easters are 9-5-1 (5-2-1 CCC). 

Ericca Broderick notched an unassisted goal in the 21st minute to give the Hawks enough scoring for victory. Jodie Lavigne set-up Jenna Hart for a RWU insurance goal in the 65th minute.

Sydney Martin had the win in goal for the Hawks, who led 14-5 in shots and 8-0 in corner kicks.

Brielle Robinson finished with five stops for UNE, which will host the CCC's first-place team -- Wentworth Institute of Technology -- Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Barbara J. Hazard Field.
