BEVERLY, Mass. -- Dario Neukom scored in the first half and Evan Couchot tacked on an insurance goal with just over a minute to play to give Endicott College a 2-0 victory over the University of New England in Commonwealth Coast Conference men's soccer action Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 19) at Hempstead Stadium.

Neukom tallied an unassisted marker in the 21st minute to give Endicott enough scoring for victory. Couchot's late goal came off a feed from Xavier Polanco.

The Gulls (9-5-2, 6-1-0 CCC) held significant advantages in both shots (28-3) and corner kicks (12-1), while goalkeeper Nick Weinstein totaled three saves for the shutout.

Nate Delesdernier had nine saves over the initial 80 minutes for the Nor'easters (3-9-4, 1-5-1) who play a CCC road match Friday at Roger Williams University.
