BRISTOL, R.I. -- After dropping the opening frame, Emmanuel College (Mass.) turned around with the next three to defeat (3-1) the University of New England women's volleyball squad on Saturday (Oct. 1) at the Roger Williams University Invitational. Set scores were 20-25, 25-21, 25-17, and 25-23.

For the Saints (7-11), Kaitlyn Atkinson totaled nine kills and five solo blocks. Mary Shelow added eight kills, and Casey Sheehan pulled up 10 digs.

The Nor'easters (8-6) got eight kills from Grayson Szczepaniak, who also had 10 digs. Bekah Mather and Rene Roggenbuck each recorded seven winners, while Kristen Falcinelli collected 32 assists as well as 12 digs. Brittany Morrison had 21 digs.
