Box ScorePhotosNEWPORT, R.I. -- The Salve Regina University men's soccer team led from start-to-finish on its way to a 3-1 Commonwealth Coast Conference victory over the University of New England in a match played Saturday afternoon (Sept. 26) at Reynolds Field.
The Seahawks (3-6-1, 1-2-0 CCC) received a first half goal from Nolan Brady and second-half tallies by Kyle Knoth and Richie Finizio to account for their scoring. Brady's marker in the fourth minute gave SRU a 1-0 lead it would take into intermission.

Jeremy Longchamp for his first career goal to get the Nor'easters back to within one in the 62nd minute. Finizio would counter less than two minutes later to push Salve's cushion back to two.
Bryan McCormack registered eight saves in the win, while
Nate Diffin had five for UNE.
The Nor'easters (2-7-0, 0-3-0) return to the pitch Wednesday when they host Clark University at 7 p.m.
