Box ScoreLEWISTON, Maine -- Claire Naughton put down 16 kills with a hitting percentage of .516 as Bates College registered a 3-0 victory over the University of New England in women's volleyball action Tuesday evening (Oct. 27) at Alumni Gymnasium. Set scores were 25-18, 25-11, and 25-18.
The Bobcats (9-13) also got 11 of their 19 service aces from Laryssa Schepel. Jacqueline Forney had 17 assists and 13 digs.
For the Nor'easters (6-14),
Courtney Lambrese recorded 11 kills and
Brooke Gibbons had 18 assists.
Brittany Morrison kept play going with 15 digs.
UNE returns to the court on Thursday (6:30 p.m.) at home against Saint Joseph's College.
