Katelyn Pierson made the score 3-0 in favor Big Blue in the 71st minute, taking a feed from classmate
Taylor Littlefield and delivering a low shot inside the left post for her first collegiate goal.
After Megan Ford got the hosts on the scoreboard with just under 10 minutes remaining on the clock, UNE junior
Kayla Hamel completed the scoring in the 86th minute.
Emily Richard picked up the goalkeeping win in her first career appearance. The sophomore blanked the Monks for the opening 79:50 before giving way to senior
Sarah Papapietro.
For the match UNE held a commanding cushion in shots, 19-6, including a 12-0 margin in the first half. Marina Cameron and Amelia Tooker split time as goalkeepers for St. Joe's.
