After more than 88 minutes of scoreless play, Mariah Kaiser sent a lengthy pass into the left side of the box where Valenti collected it and found the back of the net.
Sydney Martin made three saves for RWU, who led 16-8 in shots.
For UNE, which concludes the regular-season on Tuesday at Curry College (4 p.m.), sophomore
Brielle Robinson posted seven stops.
The Hawks visit Gordon College the same day (3 p.m.).
