BIDDEFORD, Maine -- Senior Callie Dolan notched 14 kills to help power Endicott College to a 3-0 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's volleyball victory over the University of New England on Wednesday evening (Sep. 25) at the Harold Alfond Forum. Set scores were 25-14, 25-13, and 25-19.
The Gulls (7-8) move to 2-0 in league action with the triumph, while the Nor'easters (6-5, 0-1 CCC) fall for the first time in four matches.
Dolan received attacking support from first-year Tori McIntyre and sophomore Mackenzie Guerre, who registered eight and seven kills, respectively. McIntyre also tallied five service aces to go with a team-high 15 digs. Sophomore Alleigh VandeMerkt helped pace the offense with 30 assists. Rookie Erika Trudon finished with 12 digs for Endicott.

Maria Kuehl put forth a solid all-around performance, posting 21 assists, a match-best 16 digs, and four aces.
Leading 8-6 in both the 1st and 2nd sets, the Gulls used runs of 8-1 (1st) and 14-4 (2nd) to gain separation en route to a comfortable 2-0 cushion.
The visitors raced out to a 6-0 advantage in the 3rd frame, but only led 22-19 late, before a kill from Guerre and two aces from McIntrye sealed the match.
Endicott heads to New York City for a tournament at Baruch College on Friday and Saturday. The Nor'easters continue their conference schedule with a road trip to Western New England University on Saturday (1 p.m.).
