Clean sheets...
After UNE's 1-0 win at Husson on Wednesday, all five of Big Blue's games thus far have been decided in a shutout.
Both sides had been held in-check to that point, despite several scoring chances each way. While the Nor'easters (3-2) finished with an 18-12 edge in shots, UNE senior goalie Gina Iannazzi was called upon to make 10 saves to earn her second shutout victory.

For the Eagles (1-4), who fell to the Nor'easters for the 12th consecutive meeting, Jess Poulin recorded six stops.

Big Blue will look to make it three in-a-row on Saturday (1 p.m.) as Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play begins at Nichols College.

Husson hosts the University of Maine Machias the same day.
