MORRISVILLE, N.Y. --
Tyler Thomas and Pat Wolfe each scored three goals to lead the University of New England to an 11-7 victory over Morrisville State College in a non-conference men's lacrosse match played in the snow Tuesday (March 19) afternoon at Drake Field.
With their second consecutive win, the Nor'easters improve to 4-2, while the Mustangs are winless in four starts.
Thomas' three goals moves his career total to 120, just four behind program-leader Sean Melnick's '02 total of 124. Thomas also added a pair of assists and four caused turnovers.
Dan O'Gorman pitched in with a goal and four assists for the Nor'easters. He also contributed nine ground balls and was 5-for-9 on faceoffs.

Nick Gross and
Shamus Higginbottom scored one goal apiece.
For Morrisville State, Jeremy Beresovoy and David Middlemore each tallied a pair of markers. Mike Kellogg played a strong game with six ground balls and six caused turnovers.
UNE never trailed in the match. With the scored tied at 3 after a fast and furious opening five minutes, the Nor'easters scored the last two goals of the period and the first of the second frame to open up a 6-3 lead. The Mustangs notched a score inside the last minute to pull within two (6-4) at the half.
Wolfe scored back-to-back goals coming out of halftime to put UNE up 8-4 before the hosts tallied three of the next four to get back within two (9-7). Bruno scored with 10:50 remaining, then Thomas completed his hat-trick in the final minute.
Jay Letendre turned aside 16 shots for the Nor'easters, who led in shots (42-30), ground balls (51-43) and draws (12-10).
Chris Fiore recorded 17 saves for the Mustangs.
UNE will complete its trip Thursday with a 4 p.m. game at the College of Florham in Madison, N.J.
