Box Score

KEENE, N.H. -- The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth reached win number 20 on the season Saturday afternoon (Oct. 20), capturing a 3-2 triumph over the University of New England in non-conference women's volleyball action at Keene State College's Spaulding Gymnasium. Set scores were 25-21, 14-25, 25-22, 25-27, and 18-16.

It was the first meeting between the Corsairs (20-5) and Nor'easters (13-8) since 2005.

The loss failed to overshadow a magnificent performance by UNE senior Paige Curran (Chelmsford, Mass.), who put down a season-best 25 kills to eclipse the 1,000-kill mark for her career. Curran also added three solo blocks and three block assists.

Sophomore Leah Janelle (Madbury, N.H.) and junior Angie Brunette (North Andover, Mass.) contributed 15 and 13 kills, respectively, with Brunette finishing with four total blocks, as well. Junior Maria Kuehl (Middleton, N.H.) came up with a season-high 62 assists, while classmate Kirsta Adie (Tyngsboro, Mass.) had her season high in digs (28).
