After leading by as many as six (15-9, 16-10) in the opening frame, the Warriors needed back-to-back kills at 24-all from Bourne and Wilson grab the advantage on the scoreboard.
The visitors led 2-0 in sets and had a slim cushion midway through the 3rd (15-13), only to see an 11-1 spurt from UNE swing momentum back for the home side en route to a six-point decision in the stanza.
Though the Nor'easters maintained an early 9-5 edge in the 4th, ECSU rallied to tie things at 14-14, and then proceeded to score five of the next six points to gain some separation and finish off the match.
