BRISTOL, R.I. -- Victoria Kalvert dropped down a team-high 18 kills as Polytechnic University picked up a 3-1 win over the University of New England in women's volleyball action Saturday at the Roger Williams University Invitational. The set scores were 25-19, 21-25, 25-15, and 26-24.

The Nor'easters (0-5) received an equal amount of kills from junior Paige Curran (Chelmsford, Mass.), who also had a team-high four blocks. Sophomore Maria Kuehl (Middleton, N.H.) recorded 23 assists.

Kuehl, senior Abby Davis (Somersworth, N.H.), and sophomore Kirsta Adie (Tyngsboro, Mass.) -- with a team-high 20 -- combined to register 52 digs.
